We chose an art gala as our fundraising event because art is a powerful tool for self-expression\, emotional exploration\, and building self-awareness. It fosters inclusivity by allowing artists to share their unique stories and perspectives with the world. The shared value of art opens the door to equal citizenship\, personal growth\, self-expression\, advocacy through storytelling\, and self-esteem gained from seeing their work hung on the prestigious walls of the South Shore Art Center. \nFor the Artists & Art Lovers: \nMark your calendars for May 31st! The evening will be a ticketed event\, supporters and community members will be able to purchase tickets while also having the chance to buy a piece of art work the night of the event! This art gala is all about empowering individuals throughout our community through art! \nThe Art of Inclusion is more than just an art gala; it’s a movement that we want to grow into a mindset. With an eagerness and excitement we’re excited to extend this art gala to artists from across our community\, including and beyond the individuals we support here at South Shore Support Services.
